4-5 large kale leaves
drizzle of olive oil
pinch of garlic powder (optional)
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees or put the broiler on low.
Remove the stems and tear the kale into bite-sized pieces and put them on a cookie sheet (make extra, the kale shrinks substantially).
Drizzle with 1 or 2 tsps of light olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder if you’re using it.
Bake the kale for 7 minutes.
Or if using the broiler, it’s about 5 minutes but keep a close eye on it.
