Hot Chocolate

10 minutes


¼ cup plant-based milk

2 tsp cocoa powder

3-4 tsp maple syrup or sugar

2 tsp cornstarch or more if you like it thicker

½ tsp vanilla

Vegan marshmallows (optional, bought online)


Boil the water, about 2 cups.

In a large mug mix all the ingredients until the lumps are gone. Top it with the boiling water then mix again. Add the marshmallows last! (Dandies are a vegan marshmallow brand and they taste better than “real” ones, if you ask me.)
